Disclosures

Last updated 30 September 2026.

1. Regulatory status

Ellegaard Pte. Ltd. is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a financial adviser under the Financial Advisers Act 2001. Licence number 201600971R. UEN 201600971R. LEI 984500BEFEB1B3B8B249.

You can check our licence in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, and each of our advisers in the MAS Financial Institution Representatives Register.

2. What our licence covers

We may carry out the regulated activities listed against our name in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory.

We do not hold client money or assets. Investments are held by regulated custodians and product providers in the client's name. We do not give legal or tax advice. When a plan needs it, we work with lawyers and tax advisers that the client engages.

3. This website

This website gives general information. It does not consider your objectives, financial situation or needs. It is not an offer, or a recommendation to buy or sell any investment product or to take out any insurance policy. We make recommendations only under a written engagement, after assessing your circumstances, as the Financial Advisers Act 2001 requires.

4. Products we advise on

We have distribution agreements with the following product providers: [TBC: list of product providers]. We recommend products from their ranges.

5. How we are paid

We are paid in one or more of these ways, as agreed with each client in writing:

  • fees paid by the client, fixed or as a percentage of the assets we advise on;
  • commission paid by insurers on policies we arrange, disclosed before the client signs;
  • fees from fund managers or platforms, where they apply, disclosed in writing.

Our fees are set out on the fees page.

6. Conflicts of interest

Commission that differs between products, and our agreements with product providers, can create conflicts of interest. We manage them by basing every recommendation on a written needs analysis, comparing products across providers, disclosing our remuneration before any transaction, and having our advice reviewed by our compliance function. Where we cannot manage a conflict, we do not act.

7. Knowing our clients

MAS rules on preventing money laundering and terrorism financing require us to verify the identity of each client, understand the source of their wealth and funds, and screen them against sanctions lists. We ask for documents before we advise, and from time to time afterwards.

8. Complaints

  1. Tell your adviser. Most problems are settled this way.
  2. Write to our compliance officer at support@ellegaardgroup.com, or by post to Ellegaard Pte. Ltd., 78 Lorong Limau, #16-71 Whampoa Dew, Singapore 320078. We confirm receipt within two working days, have it investigated by someone other than the adviser concerned, and aim to reply in full within twenty working days. If we need longer, we tell you why and when to expect our answer.
  3. If you are not satisfied with our final reply, you can take the matter to the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (FIDReC), an independent body that resolves disputes between consumers and financial institutions in Singapore.

9. Risks

  • Investments can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you put in.
  • Past performance does not predict future results. Projections are not guarantees.
  • Exchange rates affect investments held in other currencies.
  • Life insurance is a long-term commitment. Ending a policy early usually costs money, and the surrender value may be less than the premiums paid.
  • Replacing an existing policy can leave you worse off. Weigh the costs and the benefits you would lose.
  • Tax treatment depends on your circumstances and can change.

10. Personal data

We handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our privacy policy. Our Data Protection Officer is at support@ellegaardgroup.com.
